- As a therapist, I will treat you with unconditional positive regard and meet you wherever you are, regardless of your situation. ERP therapy may not be as difficult as your worries are telling you right now. Yes, you'll have to do some uncomfortable things. You have to trust me, and I have to trust you. Stepping into this can be anxiety-inducing, and it's a big step, but you can do it.
